The Birmingham Knowledge Quarter (B-KQ) is set to become one of the UK’s most transformational innovation districts, driving economic growth, research excellence, and industry collaboration. Spanning a government-backed 210-hectare investment zone, B-KQ will create over 22, 765 new jobs, deliver 580,000 sq. m of cutting-edge commercial, residential, and life science space, and contribute £3 billion+ in annual GVA, solidifying Birmingham’s position as a global leader in life sciences, technology, and sustainability.
Through its Quadruple Helix partnership—bringing together academia, industry, government, and communities—Woodbourne Group is working in partnership with Aston University, Birmingham City University, Birmingham City Council and Bruntwood SciTech to bring this masterplan forward.

Woodbourne Group, the property and investment company behind the £360 million Curzon Wharf development in Birmingham, has pledged support for the city’s technology and innovation quarter.
