About Luke Baker

Luke previously served as Head of Property at Tesco Pension Investment Ltd, the investment manager for the defined benefit pension scheme of Tesco, where he was responsible for £6 billion of private markets and real estate assets. Luke led strategy formulation and implementation, deal origination and transaction management, performance delivery and risk management.

Prior to joining Tesco, Luke was Fund Manager at Aviva Investors. There he was responsible for its £1 billion flagship UK balanced fund, Aviva Investors Pensions Ltd, as well as several value-add and opportunistic vehicles focusing on alternative sectors.

Luke has a track record for delivering strong investment outcomes through the creation and execution of innovative investment strategies and the leverage of his extensive experience across strategic planning, product development, capital formation, acquisitions, development, and disposals.

At Woodbourne Group, Luke leads investment management, directing strategy, managing deal origination, driving financial performance, overseeing risk management, and promotion of capital partner relationships alongside the Chief Executive.
